Robert Milton Smith, CPA, CITP

Client focus and problem solving are part of eIS Business Solutions' founder and CEO Robert Smith's DNA. In 1991, Smith established Successful Software, which would later become known as eIS Business Solutions, aiming to lead a new wave of business technology impact by working with owners, executives, and employees of companies to implement realistic business solutions. While Smith oversees the direction of the company, he stays involved in many projects from a technical and operational standpoint.

Smith's career experience demonstrates his breadth and depth of industry knowledge. It includes working in client service for Merrill Lynch as well as serving as an accountant for a high-tech manufacturing firm. In later roles, he documented business processes and procedures for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and worked for Ernst & Young implementing microcomputer-based accounting systems.

Smith holds a bachelor's degree in accounting, computer programming, and psychology, having also completed advanced studies in computer programming from Farleigh Dickinson and Monmouth Universities. He also holds several Microsoft Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics GP, CRM, and other Microsoft Technologies. He is PADI certified in Rescue Diving , enjoys hiking and spending time with his 6 furry children as well as working out at Orange Theory Fitness.
